I love learning! I completed a master’s degree in psychology in India and came to the United Stated for an experiential educational process. I subsequently completed another master’s degree in Human Development and Family Science at Ohio State University followed by yet another master’s and doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Doctor of Psychology; PsyD) at Spalding University in Kentucky. As a part of my doctoral program, I completed my year-long internship at an inpatient unit with Yale University. Subsequently, I completed my post-doctoral training at a college counseling center with Emory University. Finally, I recently completed a two year program in advanced psychodynamic psychotherapy with the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute.
I am a Licensed Psychologist in Tennessee. I recently became PSYPACT credentialed and can now work with individuals via telehealth in 43 states.
My clinical experiences have been in inpatient, forensic, outpatient community mental health and college counseling settings. I have a deep interest in working with individuals with complex and distressing symptoms especially related to psychosis or mood. I also enjoy working with individuals who are looking to learn more about themselves and want to be more present in their life. I find the process of individual psychotherapy immensely rewarding.
